Hello and Welcome to a small part of my Heritage
Dorlina Mokodompis is my grandmother on my mothers side.  She was a direct descendant of the formidable Mokodompis Dynasty. Her outer beauty was surpassed only by her inner beauty and light.  She was a medicine woman in her own right.  She was a true princess.  Dorlina married Hermanus Rombouts.
I can date her family back to the 15th century on King Mokodompis. Archeologists found artifacts from the 9th century and up.  I will be doing a small series shortly on the flora, fauna and the old ways.

A seperate series of my grandfather's side is in the process. My grandfathers' name was Hermanus Rombouts. He was originally from Breda, Brabant, Netherlands. He loved the Sulawesi people, lands and their cultures.
I was able to date my granfathers' history back to the 1600s'. My greats grandfathers were as adventurous as this one. They were sea captains, professors, artists. Their paintings can be viewed at the Rembrandt, Rijkes Museums and Louvre in France.
